Overview
The Summer School of Global Health at the University of Groningen offers a dynamic mix of interactive lectures, workshops, and group discussions, led by experts in the field. Participants will engage with pressing global health challenges while exchanging perspectives in an international and interdisciplinary learning environment.
Alongside the academic programme, a variety of social and cultural activities will be organised. These activities provide plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow participants, share experiences, and build a strong international network.
Learning outcomes
After this course you will be able to:
- identify current problems in international healthcare and elaborate on these in the context of one’s own country
- formulate solutions to global health care problems on a small scale
- elaborate on important global health topics, such as access to care, infectious disease, reproductive health and mental health care
