Overview

Equivalent to the first level of undergraduate study, the Law with Psychology programme at the University of Essex Online will develop your communication skills through interactive discussion forums with fellow professionals from around the world. 

You will also develop other critical skills such as time management, critical thinking and research, allowing you to succeed in a wide range of careers and job roles.

Your future

Legal knowledge is a highly useful commodity in a range of roles, including management, finance, human resources, education, local and central government and the voluntary sector. Your new psychology skills will also be beneficial to roles within healthcare, criminal justice, the civil service and security services.

Once you finish your CertHE course you are also able to progress onto the LLB (Hons) Law with Psychology course, a Qualifying Law Degree (QLD) which allows you to complete the academic stage of legal education. If this is your objective, you must complete all your degree studies in no more than six years and achieve a minimum of a lower second class honours degree.
