FOCUS - Foundation Course Using Simulation is facilitated by the experienced simulation Faculty from Southend University Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust and Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust.
Programme Structure
This course features:- a systematic approach to the recognition, assessment and initial management of acutely ill adult patients, with emphasis on ABCDE
- reinforcement of important aspects of patient safety
- overview to human factors and their importance in good clinical care.
