Anglia Ruskin University's 12-week Return to Midwifery Practice offers a supported route back to midwifery practice. Your skills and experience are extremely valuable, and this is a great time to return to the profession. Applicants accepted directly onto the course are fully funded and you'll also receive a bursary from health Education England on successful completion.

General requirements
- When applying, you must provide evidence of your original registration. You'll also need to have access to a relevant area of practice, to undertake the clinical practice element of the course and achieve clinical competencies.
- have a satisfactory enhanced DBS
- be able to provide a professional reference and have occupational health clearance
- be able to demonstrate that you have capability to meet the NMC requirements on numeracy, literacy, and digital and technological literacy
- demonstrate that you meet NMC English language requirements.
- Prior to application, you are strongly advised to have gained healthcare support worker experience in your field of practice in an Acute NHS Trust (for at least six months).
