The Novice Introduction to Anaesthesia Programme at Anglia Ruskin University provides valuable preparation for clinical practice and for the initial assessment of competence.
The Novice Introduction to Anaesthesia Programme Lecture Days and Simulation Day are mandatory for all CT1 Anaesthetic trainees in Watford and Essex (Basildon, Broomfield, Colchester and Southend Hospitals).
Programme Structure
The programme consists of three components:- East of England School of Anaesthesia overview - for all new Health Education East of England trainees
- three lecture days: preoperative assessment, monitoring and equipment; drugs; airway
- one simulation day
