The Basic Research Skills course empowers participants to apply research as a tool for decision-making in social, educational, and workplace contexts. Outcomes
By the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- identify and define a social, educational, organisational, community, or workplace researchable problem.
- explain research as a means of solving problems.

- gather and process information using a variety of methods such as questionnaires, interviews, discussions, observations.
- use libraries and computers as a means of gathering and processing information
