This Advanced Negotiations program offered by York University will challenge you to learn and apply proven influencing techniques and principled negotiation strategies to plan, strategize and respond quickly in a variety of settings. Build your influencing skills with practical learning modules using case studies, debates, and research to sharpen your communication abilities. Get instant feedback from instructors and peers during in-class discussions, and take part in interactive exercises, so you can feel confident applying your learnings to real-world scenarios. 

During the program, participants will take a negotiating assessment to learn more about their unique negotiating style and how they can succeed with difficult and demanding negotiators. They’ll also receive planning checklists and messaging templates they can use on the job, to organize information and prepare for crucial business conversations.
