Education
Education is future-oriented — it's about development and growth even when we are studying the past. Education is giving or receiving knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgement, using inspiration, tapping into creativity, taking risks and developing emotional and intellectual resilience. In our society, education implies school and whether you teach others or are in the process of learning yourself, education focuses on knowledge and on the intellect. Through the fine art of bringing out what is latent in a person, we learn as we teach.
Career
Career success requires more than just specialized technical knowledge for a particular field. To excel, you must develop the competencies top employers tell us they value most, such as emotional intelligence, problem solving, verbal communications, business acumen, critical thinking and project management. The focus on these professional competencies throughout the School’s post-graduate certificates will improve your leadership strength and effectiveness.

Great Academics, Scenic Campus
I really liked the dedicated and friendly lecturers who go extra to explain concepts and encourage research. The campus is beautiful: lots of trees, fresh air, and stunning views of Mount Cameroon, which makes studying relaxing and motivating. I built great friendships and gained practical skills that prepare you for real life. Improvements: Administration can be slow with result corrections, portal glitches, and handling complaints sometimes frustrating. Facilities like labs and accommodation could use upgrades, and overcrowding in some classes affects learning. Overall, it’s a rewarding experience at one of Cameroon’s best Anglophone universities—meaningful academics in a supportive, scenic environment. Highly recommend if you’re serious about your studies!
A Balanced Journey Studying Automotive Engineering
One thing I really like about my studies is the mix of theory and practical learning. Courses such as engineering drawing, thermodynamics, strength of materials, workshop processes, and engineering laboratory help build a strong technical foundation. The practical sessions are especially useful because they allow students to apply classroom knowledge to real engineering situations. This helps in understanding how machines and mechanical systems actually work. One area that could be improved is increasing the amount of practical exposure and providing more modern equipment for workshop and laboratory activities. More project-based learning and real-life engineering examples could also help students understand the applications of what they study. Overall, my study experience has been steady and neutral so far. The program requires dedication, discipline, and consistent studying, especially for technical courses. It has helped me develop problem-solving skills and a better understanding of engineering concepts, which are important for building a future career in the engineering field.
Stages of life
Study experience? Mainly based on studies it was stressful to cover all curriculums and also have fun with friends . While if we are talking based on the life I would say it was fun nonetheless i had my friends and family to support me every step of the way
