Upon completion of this Working with Families course from University of Manitoba, you should be able to:
- develop a systematic view of how families function
- identify effective tools, techniques and a model for working with families
- explain an experiential conceptualization of family systems through personal family-of-origin work
- identify individual behaviour within the context of the family
- describe personal and family-of-origin issues that could be triggered by issues raised by a family in therapy
