Overview
The Fellowship in Medical Retina and Uvea programme from Manipal Academy of Higher Education is a one-year program. The goal of the program is to provide the student with the skills to enable him/her to practice as a medical retina and uvea specialist. By the end of the fellowship the candidate is expected to be competent in diagnosing and treating patients with medical retina and uveal disorders.

Programme Structure
- Research activities: The trainee will work on a prospective and retrospective project within the department or in collaboration with other departments.
- Outreach services: Diabetic retinopathy screening camps
- Formative assessment of clinical and surgical skills monthly
- Clinical training: two outpatient (OP) days per week/Retina clinic /ROP screening
- Retinal laser procedures
- Intravitreal injections
