History

Established in 1974, Griffith College is Ireland's largest independent third-level institution, with campuses in Dublin, Cork, and Limerick.

Education

Griffith College offers internationally recognised postgraduate and undergraduate degree programmes, complemented by a wide range of professional, short term and corporate training educational solutions - in Griffith College, there is something for everyone. Today, there are just under 8,000 students studying in the College, which is a designated educational institute of Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).

The GBS Hub (Graduate Business School) is Griffith College's home of EUresearch and innovation. It is a vibrant hub of entrepreneurship thataims to bridge the gap between education and industry. Student services

Griffith Learning Support service is a confidential academic support service, which assists students in managing the demands of college life. The Learning Support Unit supports students with disabilities, learning difficulties and neurological differences. The supports are available to both full-time and part-time learners.

Housing services

Students at the Dublin campuses can take advantage of Griffith Halls of Residence, conveniently located on-campus. It houses over 600 students and is within walking distance of Dublin city centre on the South Circular Road. 

Library services

Griffith Library offers structured online, learning resources for both our students and staff. Through our range of materials, we support student learning, research potential and continuing professional development.  It provides access to a range of subject specific journal databases and online training tutorials.

ICT services

Recite Me is innovative cloud-based software that lets visitors view and use our website in a way that works best for them. 

Medical services

The Mental, Physical and Sexual Wellness of students is of the utmost importance. Throughout the year the college runs the Wellness Series which involves talks and workshops aimed at covering these topics.

Campus life

Dublin City Centre Campus:

  • In 2018, Griffith College opened an ultra-modern teaching facility at 25 Wolfe Tone Street, Dublin 1, to complement its main campus on Dublin’s South Circular Road.

Cork Campus:

  • Situated on a spacious five-acre campus on Wellington Road—just minutes from the heart of Cork city—the college provides a vibrant and accessible learning environment. Griffith College Cork is deeply committed to fostering a positive, student-centred academic culture.

Limerick Campus:

  • Limerick's position in the Mid-West region ensures that it is the best place from which to explore the many attractions of the West of Ireland.

Student clubs

 Students' Union  is the representative body for all Griffith College students. The purpose is to represent the students and their interests within the institute and externally.  Students' Union also provides a variety of facilities for the students.

It's a Great college to complete your masters

My overall experience was highly positive, and I particularly appreciate the intimate classroom sizes. The faculty demonstrated exceptional understanding and support, which significantly enhanced my academic journey.
